Kayak Fishing in South Carolina

Where do you fish / launch? We fish freshwater in upstate South Carolina as well as saltwater in Beaufort South Carolina. Most of our striper/bass trips are on Lakes Hartwell and Russel.
What kind of fish do you catch or target? In Beaufort we target redfish, trout, and sharks.
Lures, Jigs or Live Bait? We use Rapala, Strike King, Sebile, and Zoom products for most of our freshwater stuff, Black Herring is the bait of choice for the stripers. On the salt side we use Bass Assassin, DOA and Rapala Skitterwalks for artificials and shrip, mullet, and mud minnows for live bait.
Kayak Type: We use Hobie kayaks excluively.

Where do you fish/launch? Hilton Head Island - I launch from public and private locations.
What kind of fish do you catch or target? Redfish, Seatrout & Flounder or anything that bites.
What kind of lures, jigs or live bait do you use? In the winter I use gold and black spoons, DOA shrimp & jig heads. Now I fish on the flats on low tide. In the winter here the water is clear and you can see schools of fish together trying to get away from the dolphins.
What kind of kayak do you have? Liquidlogic, Stingray 14'
Do you have any good tips for rigging a kayak for fishing? I'm working on it. Now I put on 2 flush mount rod holders, anchor lock, tie downs and more.
